I attended Tennessee Tech University on an athletic scholarship to play softball. I graduated in 2010 with a B.S. in Human Ecology-concentration in Family and Consumer Science.

After graduating from Tennessee Tech University, I began working at Cleveland State Community College as the assistant softball coach; I was also a substitute teacher in Hamilton County.

The following year, I landed a job at Sequatchie County High School where I taught the following subjects for four years: Family and Consumer Science, Child and Lifespan Development, and Nutrition Across the Lifespan. While at Sequatchie County I coached volleyball from 2012-2015, boys and girls tennis from 2013-2015, was the FCA Huddle Leader from 2011-2015, FCCLA leader from 2011-2015, and also the prom coordinator.

I decided to come back to Hamilton County in 2015. I accepted two head coaching positions at East Ridge High School, volleyball and softball, and was a Related Arts teacher at my former middle school, Hunter Middle School.

Last year, 2016-2017, I taught Foundations of Interior Design at ERHS. This year, 2017-2018, I will be teaching Foundations of Interior Design and Residential Design. I will also remain as the Head Softball and Volleyball coach.
